As you will be aware local schools have isolated a large number of GFL players, all I ask is that you give me the maximum notice if your team can’t play.
Please, no more Sunday 9:30 p.m. messages that your team can’t play.
John Drew and I have just spent 2 hours today at the LFA Headquarters learning how to use the FA Whole Game System to register teams and players. Most of you will be aware of the system via your parent football clubs.
For the majority of teams it will be a simple Secretary tick box exercise.
For the ‘stand alone’ teams we will need to create a ‘parent’ club to assist your registration.
End result will be an improved league with every player’s parent aware of whom their child is playing for and that the manager of that team is DBS checked.
Our Your Kent Street project has moved on another major step, expect an imminent press announcement.
