Mark Davis brought his Immingham under 8’s to play my YMCA Saturday morning/Thursday coaching group. I was very impressed with Immingham, not sure final score, did anyone keep it? Great when your with like-minded people that appreciate the score is an irrelevance at such a young age, had they improved since last time they played – most certainly.

Nice back story is that Mark first introduction to futsal was at my Saturday morning session some two years ago. At the time mark was coaching an Immingham junior team. Two years later Mark has taken the initial FA badges and been to a Coerver junior coaching course at Stoke City. To be assessed Mark has to travel to Madrid or Switzerland. Coerver is very close to futsal coaching if not the same thing under another guise, certainly one helps the other.

Mark sent me this link about the argument for winter junior futsal leagues. Click here to read 🙂

Sheffield links continue to expand, in discussion when we can take Grimsby teams over to play. A Christmas tournament appeals to me when football is shut down.

One of the people I am talking with is FA National FA Skills mentor and a specialist in Futsal, meaning we are in good hands, with an open door to other opportunities.

Under 4/5s league has started with six teams, door is open to others.  On the sidelines are two very good teams that I am trying to source top level futsal opposition and three other teams that want regular futsal friendly games bur can’t commit to a league.

Apologies teams that I cannot keep writing individual stories as I did in past, simply to much gong as the game progresses week by week.

 Thanks for your support,
