GTFCset u14s 2022
GTFCset Futsal U14s have qualified to be the second Grimsby team to be travelling to the University of East Anglia for the FA Pokémon Futsal Cup semi finals.
Gset beat East Riding Futsal club in a tight 5-4 encounter.
Healing Hotspur had previously won the under 16 qualifying group.
East Riding Futsal Club took the u10 & 12 qualifying places. Rather bizarre having East Riding representing Lincolnshire, given that the East Riding County FA has a larger futsal fraternity than Lincolnshire, why haven’t they organised their own Qualifying Groups? That said the ERFC teams that came over were all excellent and returned home having set a new bench mark for Lincolnshire teams. They illustrated perfectly that having skilful players for futsal is half the challenge. Those players only become a team when the team has tactics and a strategy. This does not come overnight.
