Fusion Colts 4 Futsal Tigers 4

The game started brightly for Fusion, they played some great passing
futsal, equalised an early Tigers goal and then extended that to a 3-1
lead.

At the halfway point Tigers was struggling to have a major influence
on the game. Scoring to 3-2 was the turning point, one team has lost a 2
goal lead the other thrives as they know one 1 more goal and they are
level.

The longer the game went on the stronger Tigers became, 3-3 and with less than a minute left 4-3 in-front.

Forty seconds left Fusion had a corner, shot, scramble – 4-4!

One missed penalty out of 10 decided game in favour of Tigers

YMCA Spartans 4  Lions Pride 3

YMCA was  switched on to the game from the off, intercepting a pass
from the kick off, hitting post before Lions had fully awoken.

The game swung from end to end, both teams forced to defend at their best.

At no time in the game did one team dominate the other.

YMCA opened the scoring, Lions equalised and then YMCA 2-1 (penalty), a goal keeping slip let Lions back to level scores.

Lions then led 3-2 and from my position on the bench, I was most
concerned, what would be the YMCA reaction?  Young players can crash in
this situation. Not the case, 3-3 and then as Lions pushed forward they
had two three on one opportunities, scoring from one was enough to win a
tight absorbing match.

Elite 8 GSC Dynamite 3

Missed this game, score has to be seen in context; GSC having been
blooding new players to futsal, always a difficult task against
experienced opposition.

Little Devils 4 Red Dragons 3

Little Devils looked to have had the game sewn up several times.
Unfortunately Red Dragons had other ideas, time and time again we have
seen them take games to the wire. This was another occasion.

Tom Huntly (Elite) did not score a hat-trick as such, but was
responsible for a hat-trick of excellent goals. The first a back heel
pass that threw every spectator as well as the opposition, a perfect
placed shot from distance and a give and go passing set up.
