Under 10 Breakaway vs. Grange drama. Game has it all!

The scores tell you everything; this
was a tough competitive night, a credit to the players and match officials.

 Breakaways A 8 New Waltham Juniors 2

Both
teams were 100% going into game.  N
Waltham knew from Breakaway’s Gradley
League record that this was a tough one. So it proved.  Breakaway’s just
had the edge, but New Waltham gave it their best shot and made them work for
the win.

 Breakaway’s B 1 Grange Dynamos 1

What
a game! Breakaways took an early lead, Grange hounded and chased them after
that. Great GK saves, goal line clearances, the post, bar – it seemed Grange
could hit everything but the net.  If the
report makes the game look one sided it was not. Breakaways were like their
name, they threatened a second goal if Grange slipped their defences just once.

 Justice
was done when Grange scored a late equaliser; this was a game no team deserved
to lose.

Under 12’s

Clee United 2 Hereford Juniors 5 (Hereford open top 3 gap)

Clee Borough 2 Healing 5 (Healing only team 100%)

Keelby Under 11z 9 Grimsby Soccer Club B 1 (Keelby looking the part, mid table with games in hand)

  Blues Futsal 3 Healing 2

After
above game I just knew I had to stay for one more and I was not disappointed.  Healing excelled themselves taking a 2-0
lead, Blues Futsal were in deep trouble.
A second half goal gave them hope, an equaliser made them believe, and a
late winner lifted their previous gloom.
Healing will feel they deserved a share of the spoils, it was not to be.

Discoveries JSS Colts 1 East Coast 2

The
last game I did miss, there could not be a 3rd cliff hanger? Judging
by the score there was.
