Super Tuesday – The Outcome

Will the congestion at the top of Kent St League be cleared after the nights results are known was the question.

League IV champions AFC Snoop play current League V leader Willows Chinese.  4th placed AFC are 3 points behind; making it a 6 pointer for both teams.

Snoop rise to their Champions challenge 9-4.

Spiders Web are 2nd but only on goal difference, 3rd placed Eindhoven are on same points but 2 games more.  Both teams have to win for differing reasons, the pressure is on.

Spiders Web raised their game a level 10-5.  Lead table by 3 points followed by 3 teams on 21 points.

Le osterals are on the fringe of things, waiting for mistakes from others. They have stragglers Humberstone in game they cannot afford to be complacent in, Humberstone are in the position Willows was in 2 seasons ago, getting ‘futsal’ lessons from more experienced opposition.

Humberstone raised their game by some distance if my reading of the score is correct 9-6. The Osterals I saw last week was a very competent team, for Humberstone to get their first win in 10 against them is a shock result.

Second Avenue is not to be beaten on matches, 6 of the top 7 play each other!

We could see StreetSoccer off the top after appearing to own the position.  If they lose to Whakker, if Littlefields beat Magpies II.  If those 2 games are not enough ElDogoes  (7th and not out of it with games in hand) play 3rd place Auditorium who are back in form.

StreetSoccer see of Whakker challenge 8-5; Littlefields keep pressure on Streetsoccer beating Magpies 7-5; El Dogoes dent Auditorium hopes and leave door open for their own charge 4-2.

To make the night bottom placed newcomers Paragon and Mariners are head to head with a wooden spoon head to head. Great for both team as they spoils scoring 1 goal a piece.
