Three of Sheffield FC Futsal’s title winning team were involved in international action at the weekend with a great 2-1 victory over Montenegro. Ollie O’Neil, Ben Mortlock and goalkeeper Chris Holmes were involved an ever improving squad that beat a side over 30 places ahead of them in the world rankings. The win at Hereford’s Point 4 venue avenged a 4-2 defeat a day earlier, and the result is ideal preparation for their upcoming encounters, in Sheffield, against Greece next month. The games will take place at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield on Friday June 24, kick off 7.30pm and Saturday June 25, kick off at 4pm.
