Under 11z Mini 4 Team Tournament – Healing Solsberg/Louth Juniors/Seven Seas/Clee Sporting

What a great night, bags of goals and four competitive teams that get on well with each other.

At this young age, and in a culture that doesn’t have dads and uncles playing futsal to pass on the finer points of tactics, every player looked like a player understanding that futsal is not five aside, but is a sport in its own right.

There was so many players showing great technique and on occasions putting together a string of passes that was a credit to their teams.

Every game kicked off on time, every substitution was done without slowing the flow of the games, and every decision was accepted without question, for that thanks to the managers and the parents who transported them.  Extra special thanks to Louth Juniors, a miserable journey to travel when it’s raining heavy, thankfully the rain stopped as soon as play started.

End of play Clee Sporting had a 100% wins; Seven Seas 66%; Healing 33%. Louth had 100% fun, every keeper saved his best to Louth game, times it seemed there was a plastic cover in front of the opposition gaol.  Louth big bonus was an excellent new signing playing his first ever futsal game and better still he’s bringing his mate next week.
