ALL STARS LOOKING UNSTOPPABLE, LITLE DEVILS HANGING ON IN THERE

Standout result:

Ivory Toast inflicts Havelock Madrid’s’ first defeat for some
considerable team.

All Stars and AFC Zulu win tight encounters.

Receiving feedback of high foul ratio in league, this has to be a
consequence of size of players compared to court size.  Would we not be better moving league to
Second Avenue outdoors where there is an international size futsal court?
Allowing skill and technique to flourish.

Need feedback from teams kevin@futsal.org.uk

Due to Dynamite having an organisation lapse, only half team arrived,
they played a friendly with Ormiston. Ormiston awarded points as per league
rules with a 5-0 score.

Futsal Tigers 2 Lions 5

Just like to say a fantastic team effort from the Lions v Futsal
Tigers. I have to say we destroyed them right from the off and carried on
throughout. Only downside was halftime whistle as it interfered with our game
a bit but we still played some neat stuff. Not taking anything away from
tigers but very well done to my lads. If they play like that every week some
teams out there need to aware. On our day we can beat anyone.Stu Orr

YMCA 1 Scartho 5

YMCA scored a classic futsal goal, inter-passing at pace from goal to
gaol, and scoring with a back post tap. Wheels fell off second half as the
teams Achilles heel, no regular GK, meant roll was shared. Full credit to
Devils who are in form with 9 straight wins.

Scartho edged a close 5-3 encounter against Holton Le Clay, Charlie
(Holton Le Clay) must have the best goals to half chance opportunity of any
player in league

Table toppers All Stars ran out comfortable winners against Waltham
and are now in pole

position to win league, but have tough games outstanding vs. Devils
and Tigers.

Not best of nights from an organisational point of view. Humberstone
break down on way to ground and Franklin hit by players away on half term
break. To help out YMCA played back to back matches. Losing to Valiant, no surprise,
then lifting their game to play Trawl and (real surprise after one hard game)
winning.

League in awkward situation with games being played both old and new
league.

Humberstone have 2 games left and have a 5 point advantage over
Norburn Tigers. Leagues have been lost from this situation in past.

Memorably EL Dogo’s was only ever top of their league after a
dramatic late goal in their last match!

Newton Heath and GSC just edging away from rest of league, but with
long, long way to go.  Both teams meet
next week!
