Monday Premier League

Grimsby Institute progress thrown in disarray by Catalonia.

Newton Heath grab a great draw vs. Shamrock.

Fulstow keep pressure on Valiant at top with win over Youngs’ Seafoods’.

 Junior u/11 League

E.C.Lions ‘A’ only managed 4 players vs. GSC New Waltham and still ran out 5-3 winners. All 4 players (Ethan, Morgan, Tom & Jack) managed a goal each. Two crackers from Ethan and Tom. Stu Orr said ‘his team played with great determination and effort against a GSC team that played some good stuff.’

Table is splitting into a real top half bottom half scenario; any team from 5 is in with a chance of title.  A whole list of tasty matches to come.

 Junior u/13 league

Refereed 2 cracking games, the best being Tigers 2 Healing Hotspur 2.  1-1 for most of a very tight game, the drama came in the final minute when Tigers scored to win the game? Healing then dramatically levelled with seconds left.

Keelby 6 Atlantic 4 followed a regular format almost to the end; Keelby would score and Atlantic would fight back level. it was only the last goals that was decisive for Keelby.

All four teams played some great futsal and on several times supporters of both teams clapped as offensive teams played some great passing futsal to be denied by an equally impressive defensive tackle or block.

NB: Top futsal times make the kick in easy, opponents have to stand 5 meters back making it easy for team taking the kick to take a simple short tap in.  The higher the standard the shorter the pass from a kick in.

 Tuesday League

Newton thumped by 2nd place Trawl. A rare Newton Heath trouncing.

Leaders Madrid beat StreetSoccer 7-4. Tricky game as StreetSoccer never roll over.  Barca strangely never showed against Frankin College and as a result concede game 5-0 with referee expenses added.

landscape_gifhe_less_25.jpgPerformance of the week must go to Potential.  Clee wanders was cruising 3-0 only to be dragged back to 3-3 with 20 seconds left; enough time for Potential to grasp a 4-3 win.  Referee Kirk Russell reported ‘an amazing game.’

Wednesday Futsal League games postponed due to Engalnd vs. Slovinia.

 Thursday League

Inbetweeners run up basket ball score 24-7. 3-1 if looked at in a different perspective, will suit GSC better viewed that way.

Market Hotel continue their upward improvements with great win over East Marsh in 15 goal tester.  Everglaze have been reinvented, Barca fall guys.

NB: Pilgrims, Inbetweeners, Inter,  teams need to help out on match kick off times when you play each other.  Most weeks I can give you prefered KO times, when you play each other there has to be an exception.
