Respect the match Referee

FIFA Laws for Futsal cover 160 pages.  Before you question a referee decision make sure you have studied the full 160 pages.  Your referee has and been examined on the 160 pages.

They can be read at https://football-technology.fifa.com/media/1022/footballs_futsal_laws_of_the_game.pdf

League ‘management Rules are a separate document.  All rules for joining and leaving the league are passed by the Lincolnshire County FA. This & Welfare Information can always be found on the league web site:

Notes for newcomers to play and watch Futsal·        The Futsal GK is on a 4 second rule on everything he does in his own half·        The Futsal GK does not have any time limits when in the opposition half

·        Any player can enter or leave the penalty area, this includes the GK

·        When GK passes ball out it cannot be returned to him by his own player until ‘the opposition has touched the ball’.

  • Note for the Futsal newcomer: ·        Futsal is not Football. Futsal is a sport in its own right. ·        Futsal players have to be more careful than football players when tackling.

·        Futsal teams want the referee to call every foul as they are counted towards a ‘free shot’ at goal.

·        A Futsal referee can play advantage and then at first opportunity ball goes out of play, can record the foul.

  • Note Goal Difference does not apply in junior leagues. A 15-0 win is recorded as 5-0; and a 9-2 win as 7-2.  If end of a league teams are level on points a ‘play off’ game decides.
