The week’s breaking stories:
School Year 7-8 League
YMCA recover from 1-4 to beat Red Dragons 5-4. YMCA played
some cool futsal throughout, but was off the pace in the early stages as
Dragons took scoring opportunities better than their opposition. At 1-4 did Dragons switch off or YMCA switches
on? Or maybe a bit of both?
GSC Dynamite must be feeling sick two 4-3 setbacks in two
weeks. Stu Orr might have been missing couple of key Lions, never less Dynamite
should be credited with close score.
School Year 9-10 League (2)
First apologies to Havelock and Grimsby Tigers who arrived
at YMCA only to find hall double booked!
Issue resolved and we have a 2 hour slot next week from 6-8pm.
In the 2 games played Havelock Madrid and Plodders had
resounding wins that keep them top of table with Crowland Athletic sandwiched
between.
School Year 9-10 League (1)
Pleased to see so many futsal players in GTFC winning football tour to London. http://www.thisisgrimsby.co.uk/Grimsby-Town-14-School-Excellence-enjoy-winning/story-15838709-detail/story.html
Big three, Discoveries Titans, Humberston Futsal and FC United are on fire, setting a standard not seen since leagues started 10 years ago. ‘Real’ futsal played to highest standard, for the pack its going to be a real challenge to even break into top three never mind win league.
Tuesday Senior Premier League
Valiant’s big win over Scartho takes them back to top on
goal difference from second placed GY Pelham with goal difference secured on the
night. Third placed Franklin College stuttered against lowly placed El Dogo’s
sharing ten goals. Newton Heath appears to be moving into a winning groove,
watch this space.
Wednesday Senior League
Results outstanding, referee DH believed to be fishing…………………………
