Humberstone unstoppable school year 8/9 tournament

Humberstone Futsal Juniors

Humberstone won the tournament with a style and panache above their
years. Added to a mix of excellent players was the ability to play and
understand futsal that gave the team an added dimension.

The team improvement since I last saw the team was immense, the
results over three tough opponents suggest the team has taken the bar to
a new higher level.

Knowing the opposition they will have been stung, everyone will want to beat Humberstone.

Special word for new team, Crowland Crusaders, four goals adrift
after the first four attacks I feared the worst.  The team could have
collapsed and gone home, they stayed, reorganised, tried new tactics,
learnt off the opposition and will, when they have played more games, be
a real asset to this age group.

Watch this space there will be more games next week with added teams.
