Feed back wanted? Suggestions have been offered that the Monday Premier League and the Tuesday League should merge. My thoughts are that the idea is sound in principle, It would mean some Tuesday games being played on a Monday when the opposition was Valiant, Shamrock, Youngs’ or Catalonia. I would suggest a league where each team plays each other once,  and which at the halfway point spilt into two mini leagues.  This would give the top teams some highly competitive futsal.

Harvest ‘football’ team have had a short term injury crisis prioir to this Saturday’s County Cup game vs. AFC Ropery from Gainsborough.

Can you help out, the Harvest team is predominantly futsal faces, so you will know half the players already.

The team plays futsal/football?  Meaning the players love to and are encouraged to play passing football at all times.

Think you can help out, want to know more?

GFL Junior futsal training for ages 7-8, school years 2 & 3.

The children will have the advantage of learning in a heated indoors  environment playing on a flat surface, using low bounce Brazilian footballs that are sensitive to touch. Far more conducive to learning than outdoors in the cold and rain on long grass with a ball that bounces away on first touch. Sports scientist would endorse our method of teaching.

Each group is limited to 12, allowing coaches quality time with individual players.

The children are being coached at a controlled pace about technique and passing, there is no rush to throw players into a club/team set up.

That hurdle will be meet when the players basic technique is so good that they can benifit from a small sided challenge.

The sessions are every Saturday 9AM at the Peakes Lane , YMCA.
