Teams wanted under 8z

JOIN CROWDS LOGO2Hi All

I know that you don’t know me but myself and Kevin Bryant support a very successful Lincolnshire  FA junior futsal league in the Grimsby area on an evening during the week at the YMCA (Indoors) and Novartis (Outdoors) under floodlights when necessary.

We have a newly  established U9/U10 (10 teams)Thursday evening & U11/U12(10 teams)  league on a Tuesday evening and U15/U16 on a Monday & Thursday (12-14 teams)evening which is very successful and competitive and generates a great standard.

A number of the players from last year’s U16z have moved through to the academy at Grimsby Town futsal which are doing so well at a national level, and have just gone off on an all-expenses paid trip to Valencia for two whole weeks.

We are  trying to get an Under 8  league started and have attained all your addresses from the Gradely website – I am a qualified Futsal referee and cannot explain how beneficial this game is to young children and provides great development as an individual and as a team – We have in the last week had a couple of friendlies at u8 (Seven Seas)  and the kids absolutely loved the game.

It’s  a great way to train during the summer evenings and gets teams ready for the weekend Tournament’s.

We have had Seven Seas down last two Mondays for friendly games against U9 teams – they are really interested in supporting a New U8 league.

We would like to give local teams a chance to try the game and play a friendly or two to see if they like it and whether they would like to enter a league that will likely kick off during the  middle  of April on a Monday evening.

Lots of information on leagues and national impact from Grimsby Town Development futsal group – leagues are under Grimsby futsal icon – a number of your older teams are involved so am sure if you contact them they’ll hopefully explain the benefits that Futsal brings

If you would like to try it out and play a friendly please let me know –  my email address is on this message orjohnmawer1968@gmail.com   and my mobile number is 07972126317  feel free to ask any questions at all – I would require a minimum of 6 teams to kick of a league (games kickoff at 5.30, 6.10, 6.45 or 7.15PM

Friendlies can be available from this coming Monday 4th April – all rules will be explained as part of the introduction and friendly games.

Games are 15 minutes each way and cost per game is £15 which covers pitch facility and refereeing.

The link attached takes you to the League website and offers an insight to the benefits of FUTSAL as well as the rules.

If you know of any other teams within your clubs that may be interested at other age groups please pass on the mail or my contact details.

Regards

John Mawer
