MONDAY INTERMEDIATE LEAGUE

Havelock Madrid celebrated the team’s new kit
with a tight 4-3 win against AFC Zulu. Zulu brought to my attention Madrid had
used two loan players (allowable within rules under special circumstances);
picture clearly shows Madrid with regular squad members.

Worst name in the league, Ivory Toast, buttered
(battered) by All Stars.  Clee town 5’s
just too good for a depleted Cleethorpes Town.

 MONDAY YEAR 8/9 LEAGUE

TEN ON THE BOUNCE! Congratulations to Grimsby All Stars for an exceptional sequence of wins. Lions was fall guys this week, losing 4-2. Lions must be credited with a great fight back from 0-3 to only lose 4-2. (Great game Stu Orr)

Bottom placed Dynamite and N Waltham shared spoils in close 4-4. Illustrates standard of league when these two are bottom.

Red Dragons confirmed mid table position with tricky 2- 1 win over Scartho.

Beware Holton Le Clay, 4 wins in last 5 matches. Newcomers Ormistone Maritime Academy, taking  over from failed AFC Toll Bar, walked into 13 goal storm. CJ2, Callum, Niall and Kieron replied for OMA. (Havelock much improved – OMA parent Gorden Peart)

TUESDAY LEAGUE wiped out by injuries and Manchester United on TV.

Wednesday League

Newton Heath setting pace at top, GSC and Bradley FC are surprise chasers, Scartholonia, Trawl, GRS and Blaine surprisingly off the early pace. Bradley being the real surprise package nicking yet another close score match, can they stay pace?

Standout result was a Scartho defeat.

Starting with just 4 (5th player arrived late) Scartho made life more than a little difficult for Trawl.

 THURSDAY LEAGUE 10/11

Teams playing as I write.

A very good source of news tells-me a Thursday night player has moved from Scunthorpe to derby county for considerable sum of money, this before-player has hit big time with Scunthorpe. Anyone who has watched lad play will tell you the player has exceptional ‘feet.’

Will confirm story when I read it from national news source.
