Spartans 2 Lions Pride 7  Little Devils 0 Fusion Colts 4  Futsal Tigers 5 Elite 4 Red Dragons 0 GSC Dynamite 2

This was Spartans first game as a team and it showed, they was having to pick up tactics as the game played – not easy.  The signs was there that the team has the talent to progress.

Lions Pride was more confident, with every player knowing his job, they passed and moved with great effect.

The result has been recorded as a Lions Pride win. Stu Orr has to be commended that he has offered to replay the game, Spartans took the game at short notice then allowed him to play a loaned player to make up his team as they was one player short.

Little Devils did not turn up, Fusion was quicker to see danger, and more intelligent with the ball.

Fusion now travel to Spain to play in a tournament, lets hope they can continue  current run of form.

Is there a new order taking place?

Elite and Little Devils topped the last league – they both lost!

Elite had a 3-1 lead at one stage, but Tigers mauled them when they discovered Elite lacked a defencive defencive strategy when pressed.

Dynamite want believe the league table this week.

Week one they was hammered, two games later they have four points and are second in table.

After only three weeks this league is looking really interesting.

Discoveries Titans 12 vs. Humberstone Futsal 6

Football can be a strange game, Humberstone showed no fear as they rattled Titans bar and forced great keeping saves. Titans responded and by five minutes it was 2-2 all on cross bar or hit post encounters.

Humberstone then suffered on counter breaks and was 0-3 before they cleared their heads.  To their credit they rectified this to 3-3, but could not rectify the defensive element of the game, which cost them dearly.

Humberstone need to work on three key elements of the game, defence-defence and defence, goals will come automatically.
