Falcao is
one of the world’s biggest stars in the sport of futsal, a form of
football that embodies the South American approach to the game with its
emphasis on skill, creativity and improvisation.

The
31-year-old will be showing what he can do to City’s under 18 squad, and
the Academy’s Skills Coach Kristian Wilson is delighted that the lads
can learn from such a great talent at first hand.

Kristian
said, "Falcao is an absolute legend in futsal, arguably the best futsal
player in the world. We are constantly striving to get kids of all ages
at the Academy to be more comfortable on the ball, improve their
dexterity and their co-ordination. Futsal skills can only help in that
process and for our boys to learn from Falcao is real coup for the
Academy."

Keep your
eyes on MCFC.co.ukover the next few days for behind-the-scenes footage
of Falcao and his incredible skills, as well as an exclusive interview.

 Incredible
the futsal progress at Manchester City, it was 18 months ago that
Mathew Bryant took Grimsby Soccer Club futsal under 10’s to play their
Academy team at the game, since then they have opened Futsal Centres in
Sheffield and Leeds as well coaching sessions from foreign experts from
Brazil, Croatia and Holland that I know of!
